Yael Stone

Stone was born in Sydney and was raised in Sydney. She was educated at the Newtown High School of the Performing Arts (NIDA) as well as the National Institute of Dramatic Art. Stone began acting when she was just a child. Her roles included Me Myself and The Farm. She primarily focused on theatre. She was named the title of Best Newcomer during the Sydney Theatre Awards 2008 and Best Supporting actress for The Kid. As well as her roles in the theatre, she's had a role on TV, with supporting roles, such as All Saints or Spirited. She also starred on the screen in The Diary of a Madman. It earned her a second nomination to the Sydney Theatre Awards as Best Supporting actor. In February of 2011 she flew to New York to perform in the Brooklyn Academy of Music's production of The Diary of a Madman in the spring of 2011, before returning to her the lead roles of A Golem Story, Summer of the Seventeenth Doll, as well as As You Like It in Sydney.
